At last…first semester is coming to an end. Everyone has been extremely busy with finals just around the corner, yet, we are still managing to have fun and enjoy ourselves here at the Newman Center.

Formal was last Saturday and it seems to me that everyone had a fantastic time! It was so wonderful to see everyone all dressed up and looking their best. Thanks to our alumni, the decorations were beautiful, and we were able to have a truly classy night at Kickapoo Creek Winery.

 Once study day begins, things will be calmer and quieter around Newman since all students will be asked to help maintain a “studious atmosphere.” And of course, Newman will close on Wednesday, December 16, at 1 PM with the conclusion of finals.

 I hope that everyone does well on finals and has the opportunity to enjoy family, friends, and home-cooked meals over Christmas break! God Bless!
